I grew up in Minsk, Belarus, and moved to the U.S. with my family when I was 8. I came up with the concept of Birch Tree Academy when I realized how important both academic and social development was for my own children. After I wasn’t able to find that combination in any schools I visited, I decided to create it. It was so exciting when I realized other parents were looking for the same thing, and our preschool was born! Although my main job is handling business and operations, I love getting to know all of the kids and playing with them during their outside breaks.

Born and raised in Ballard, I am a Seattle native. I grew up loving the outdoors-backpacking, camping, and playing in the great Pacific Northwest!

I have over 13 years of experience working with children- everything from teaching Kindergarten Enrichment to running summer camps at the YMCA. Once I spent a summer teaching English to orphans at Samuel House Academy in Udaipur, India. During this experience I realized that I wanted to make educating and loving children my lifelong mission!

I was born in Kazan, Russia and have lived in the Seattle for the past eight years. I have a bachelor's degree in Finance and spent five years in banking before coming to Birch Tree Academy. My son and daughter are both Birch Tree students and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work in this fun and dynamic place. I enjoy working with kids and families, and am always happy to help with school related inquiries.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area of California. I received a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from the University of California, Davis. I taught swim lessons beginning at the age of 15 and eventually was the supervisor of the swim school. I have taught parent toddler classes to adult triathletes. I also nannied for many years and created a deep connection with not only the kiddos but with the parents as well. I am one of five kids so I am very used to organized (and unorganized) chaos!

While at Birch Tree Academy, I hope to raise an appreciation of our environment with the young humans, watch their personalities become individualized, and to create a safe space that feels like home.

I am originally from Minsk, Belarus, and have been living in Seattle since 2018. Following my graduation from the University of Economics, I started an accounting career that spanned approximately 8 years.

However, my passion for technology and software led me to transition into accounting software. As a software implementation specialist, I became deeply involved in helping businesses optimize their financial processes. This role allowed me to combine my expertise in accounting with technological advances.

As a proud parent of two sons who attended Birch Tree Academy, I am thrilled to be part of this vibrant and successful place. Working as a float teacher at BTA for three years gave me a deep understanding of the value of our work. Teamwork, parental support, and the happiness of children are important to me.

I was born in Kazakhstan. A few years ago my family and I decided to move to America. I am married with two young sons. Living in Russia, my work was mainly with communication with people. With the advent of my first son, I studied child psychology and child development. I really enjoy interacting with children. I like to see their growth and development and help them with this.
