Enrollment Process

We are thrilled to share some exciting news – construction of the Canyon Park school has begun!. The property owner is preparing the ground and getting ready to lay the foundation. They estimate they will be complete with their portion of the work in July of this year. That will allow us to begin our work and if everything goes according to plan, we will be ready to welcome you and your children starting in November of this year. Keep in mind that construction projects often face delays and setbacks and we will keep you informed if anything changes.

How Enrollment Will Work

Now that we have an approximate date for when the school will open, we wanted to let you know how enrollment will work. We are very fortunate that there has been quite a lot of interest in this school and there are a lot of families who have expressed a desire to enroll. To accommodate this, we will open up enrollment in batches, giving each group a week to make a decision on whether they would like to enroll before the next group is invited. Priority will be given to existing enrolled families, families who have been referred by existing families, people who have already toured with us and people who have signed up to be notified (based on the date they signed up).

If you have friends that may be interested in enrolling, it isn't too late. Please let them know to sign up here: https://www.birchtreeacademy.com/newschools. As noted above, families will be notified in the order they signed up, so the earlier they get on the list, the better chance they will have of getting the spot they want.

Invitations to enroll will begin going out mid-late February and will continue until everyone who has signed up has been notified. We expect the final invites to go out in April, so please be patient--we will get to you.  In the weeks leading up to when we send out the invites, we will provide more details about how the process will work. Please make sure to check your email as this will be the primary method of notification. As noted above, you can also always check the website for updates but the notification to enroll will come via email.
