I was born and raised in Washington. I have four siblings, and I helped raise my two youngest sisters. I always wanted to become a maternity nurse, but once I started working with children my goal has changed to someday opening my own preschool. I have been working with kids for over three years and I am so happy to do what I love every day! I especially love watching kids develop their interests and unique personalities.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area of California. I received a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from the University of California, Davis. I taught swim lessons beginning at the age of 15 and eventually was the supervisor of the swim school. I have taught parent toddler classes to adult triathletes. I also nannied for many years and created a deep connection with not only the kiddos but with the parents as well. I am one of five kids so I am very used to organized (and unorganized) chaos!

While at Birch Tree Academy, I hope to raise an appreciation of our environment with the young humans, watch their personalities become individualized, and to create a safe space that feels like home.

I was born in Ukraine, in the city of Rivne and I have five brothers and six sisters. My extended family are the most precious people on the planet. Maybe it was because I grew up in a big family, but I got used to being with children at a young age. Ever since childhood, I liked to play school, as if I were a teacher and taught children. Needless to say, I knew I wanted to be a teacher who doesn't just teach, but who loves children and knows how to make them happy.

My name is Lyudmila, I was born in Ukraine! There are 11 children in our family! I have always loved children very much, which is why I chose the pedagogical field of activity. I received a higher pedagogical education. I have experience working in schools and kindergartens! I am sure that we will have a good time every day! We will create a wonderful atmosphere for the learning of each child!

My name is Zhanna. I previously worked as a primary school teacher, deputy principal for academic affairs, and principal of the school. I am recognized for my leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and high level of organization. I am an adoptive mother of two children, and I have gained a deeper understanding of the needs of children in various life circumstances.

Hello, my name is Akhila, I grew up in India. I received my bachelor's degree in computer science from JNTU (Hyderabad). I have experience in childcare back in India and have been working with kids for a little over a year now. I love spending time with children. I love reading story books to children.

I’m a born and raised Washingtonian and am happy to call Bothell my childhood home. I am the oldest of 5,  and watching my siblings grow up and helping raise them along the way is where my love for ECE really began. I spent some time in California studying chemical engineering when I realized working with children is a passion I can’t continue to ignore, and now I’m proud to be a teacher and studying early childhood education. Outside of work and school you can find me reading, working on a new crochet or knit project, exploring new trails with my Love, or cheering on my family playing at Pop Keeney Stadium right next door.

Hi, I’m Brenna, I was born and raised in Washington. When I graduated High School, I wasn’t sure which of the endless opportunities I wanted to do, because I want to do a little bit of every job. Which is what brought me here, to childcare! I have worked childcare for over a year now. I love to be helpful, nurturing, and of course dancing around with the kiddos in the classroom. I am currently working towards my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education! At Birch Tree, I am excited to be immersed in the classroom and learn from other (super amazing) teachers, but also to learn all about the (super amazing) students! Outside of work, I’m usually studying, teaching dance or dancing, and spending time with my partner and my pup! Looking forward to sharing smiles with you all!

With over three years of experience in early childhood education centers and an even longer background as a nanny, I bring a deep commitment to supporting the growth and development of toddlers. I believe that open communication and strong partnerships with parents are essential to creating a positive, nurturing environment where each child feels safe, engaged, and ready to explore. I work closely with families to ensure that every child’s needs are met and that we’re aligned in supporting their unique journey. I got my AA in English from North Seattle College, and currently I am a student at the University of Washington, majoring in Early Childhood Development. I am so happy to be a part of the Birth Tree Academy family and can’t wait to experience all the joys that come with teaching. In my free time I love to write novels and hope to one day become a fantasy author as well. I also love reading and painting and spending time with the love of my life.

Hey y’all! A little bit about me – I was born in Port Angeles, Washington, but moved to Texas for my mom’s job. In 2014, my family decided to move back to Washington, and that’s when I met the love of my life. Recently, I realized I needed a new career path, and here I am! I’ve always had a passion for helping kids, and over the past year, I felt a strong urge and gut feeling to turn that passion into action. So, here I am! Hello, my name is Morgan Sparks. I am currently attending college studying special education. I am originally from Orlando Florida and moved to Washington to finish college and to spend time with my dad.

I was born and raised in California and have been living in Washington State for eight years. I am Filipino American and I am the second eldest of three sisters. I have been living here in Washington State ever since. I spend most of my weekends either reading, playing video games or binge-watching my favorite shows. Stumbling upon education by accident, I enjoyed helping students thrive in their environment.

I was raised in Pune, India, and my teaching journey has taken me across India and North America. Over the past four years, I’ve been a lead teacher in a Toddler classroom in Toronto, Canada. I relocated to Seattle this summer and am eager to explore this beautiful city! With over fifteen years of experience in early childhood education, I’m continually inspired by the boundless energy and curiosity of the little ones. I look forward to creating wonderful memories together!

I am from Colombia and came to US 24 years ago. I worked 6 years in a regular school and 21 years in Montessori school in Florida and I know this is my passion. I just relocated to Washington State this year. I wanted to live closer to my daughter and my two granddaughters.

My life journey started in the heart of Europe, and there I had a very happy and unforgettable childhood, youth years, there I got married and birthed my elder daughter. I moved to the USA in 2022 & my son was born here. I have a Master’s degree in Philology at the National University of Odessa in Ukraine. I speak Ukrainian, English, Russian, and Bulgarian. In Ukraine, I worked as a teacher and event manager of school for more than 10 years. I gained much experience during our after-school theater classes and preparing the school holidays with kids. For me, teaching never was only a job. I left a piece of my soul in every child. So, let's have a fun, growing little ones!

Hello! I’m so happy to be a part of the Birch Tree Academy team. I was born and raised California, where I earned a BA in Child and Adolescent Development. I love educational processes and deeply enjoy guiding children through their own learning journeys. I’m excited to get to know all the amazing kiddos here! Outside of work, I’ll be exploring Washington, as I’m still new to it. Hopefully I will get to develop my plant identification skills, hike nearby mountains, and enjoying some of Washington’s beautiful scenery.

Hi! My name is Lindsay. I have been working with kids for a while and it started from my big family. I have four siblings and two of them are ten years younger than I am. Growing up my dad worked out of town because of this he wasn't able to live with us so I helped my mom a lot with the kids. I currently am going to school for ECE at Lake Washington tech and plan to get my associates degree. In my free time I like to go roller skating, collage, and dance.

I was born in Baku, then I moved to another country & was a teacher for 27 years. I have two sons, & four grandsons. But still, the luckiest year in my life was 2015, when I moved to the USA. In 2017, I attended Edmonds Community College & graduated in 2018. From the years of 2018-2021, I was working at Providence Hospital as an EKG tech. I soon realized that teaching was truly what made me happy, & that is when I came to Birch Tree Academy. I'm pleased to be a part of such a great team & to share my time with such adorable kids.

But, as soon as my granddaughters were born I realized that there is no greater happiness than seeing them grow up, how their characters change.
